My Dad likes to call himself “Igoy” as a shortcut for “Igorot Boy”.

Yeah… We are Igorots. Our roots came from those who live in the mountains, lived in tribes and guys wear “tapestries”. J

I’m proud to be part of such great people. My great grandfather was a tribal leader then and most of the communities there in the mountains came from him. Pretty neat huh?

So I chose the blog name “IgGirl” for that. And besides, it’s unique J
